Shiitake mushrooms have several health benefits. Firstly, they are rich in vitamin D and vitamin B12, which are typically found in animal-based foods, making them a great addition to a plant-based baby's diet. Secondly, shiitakes contain unique types of fiber and essential vitamins and minerals like selenium and zinc, which are important for immune system function, as well as maintaining a healthy sense of taste and smell. Lastly, shiitakes have phytonutrients that possess antioxidant, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties.

Black fungus provides zinc, selenium, and vitamin B6, promoting baby's growth, immune system, heart health, and metabolism. They also support gut microbiome with fiber.
